Boys Volleyball

Coach Kinlaw has been coaching and mentoring athletes for over 15 years.  Her coaching career began as a girls’ basketball coach for the local Manteca Parks and Recreation Department, which was part of an assignment for her senior project while she was a senior at East Union High School.  That experience sparked her passion for continuing her coaching journey and she has been coaching various sports and teams since then.  Coach Kinlaw became the head varsity boys’ volleyball coach at Weston Ranch High School during the 2021-2022 school year.  She has also served as the assistant coach for the girls’ basketball program since the 2021-2022 season.  Coach Kinlaw credits her father for igniting her passion for coaching sports as he was a high school football and wrestling coach when she was growing up.  Through her father, she saw firsthand the positive impact that coaches can have on the lives of their athletes.  Coach Kinlaw enjoys mentoring athletes and teaching them all the valuable lessons that sports teach about life, like sportsmanship, respect, character, dedication, etc.  Above all, Coach Kinlaw enjoys instilling confidence into her athletes so they can be successful, on and off the court, and learn to be productive members of society when they graduate from high school.
