Come join one of the most successful soccer programs in the district.  If you live in the Weston Ranch area and are interested in playing for Weston Ranch please don’t hesitate to contact Coach Cisneros.  We have a rich history and would love for you to be a part of it.

Head Coach:
Francisco Cisneros
Coach C has been a teacher for Manteca Unified District since 2009.  He spent his first 17 years at Great Valley as a PE teacher.  In 2022 Coach C transferred to Weston Ranch High School.
Coach Cisneros has been at the helm of the boys varsity program since 2013.  That year, Cisneros and his Cougars made program history by making the playoffs for the first time.  They would lose a close battle against Liberty Ranch in the San Joaquin Section Finals.  After that incredible season Cisneros and his staff made some adjustments and went on to win VOL and San Joaquin Section Championships for the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.  The following year the program went into a rebuilding phase.  The Cougars failed to make the playoffs in 2016-17.   It didn’t take long for the program to get back on track and the Cougars have made the playoffs every year since.  After finishing second in the VOL two years in a row, the 2019-2020 season saw the Cougars win their third league Championship under Cisneros.  They would go on to make it to the second round of the San Joaquin Section playoffs.  In 2021-22 the Cougars finished 2nd in the VOL and made it to the second round of the playoffs.  The Cougars joined the SJAA for the 2022-23 season where they finished 2nd place in league.  In 2022-23 Cougars had a good run in the playoffs making the semifinals of the Section San Joaquin, where they lost 3-2 in a penalty shootout to Kimball High School.  As a program Cisneros prides himself in playing the game the right way.  Each year begins with the same three goals: 1. Making the playoffs, 2.  Winning League, 3. Winning a Section Championship.  Though the program has not won a Section Championship since 2015-16 the Cougars hope to return to the promise land one day.
“Our goal is to control the things we can control on the practice and playing field.  We want our athletes to develop their character, a good work ethic and values that will help them later in life.  By focusing on the process and doing things the right way, the results will take care of themselves.”
