Head Coach Albala Bio
Coach Albala has been coaching for 4 years at Weston Ranch High School. The first 2 years, Coach Albala was the Junior Varsity girls soccer coach. Having played for fifteen years, Coach Albala’s love for the sport is what drives her to coaching. In May of 2022, Coach Albala was promoted to head coach for the girls varsity soccer team. Coach Albala dedicates 6 days of the week to two hour trainings per day for the Varsity team and hopes to make playoffs for the first time in school history.
Assistant Coach Benito Baltizar.
With over 15 years of coaching experience, Coach Benito comes from Edison high school. As the former JV coach for Edison Girls soccer, Coach Benito started his Weston Ranch career as Coach Albala’s first hire. Coach Benito specializes in conditioning and nutrition for individual players. Coach Benito emphasizes physical and mental health above all else. He is dedicated to making these players healthy by creating healthy habits.
Assistant Coach Zareth Jimenez
Former Weston Ranch graduate, Coach Zareth, took on the Junior Varsity head coach after being assistant coach in Winter 21/22. Coach Zareth focuses on structure, discipline and creating a safe space for players to make mistakes and learn. She encourages players to try new things and to take on difficult challenges. She works on improving JV players to prepare them for the Varsity level.
Assistant Coach Raul Yurivilca
Newest to the coaching staff, Coach Raul is Coach Zareth’s assistant coach helping Coach Zareth with tactical skills. Coach Zaul has been playing soccer for over 30 years and has a passion for the sport. Coach Raul helps with practice planning and preparing the JV players for the next level.
