Cougar Media Team

Cougar Media Team is a program run by Weston Ranch High School's CTE Advanced Graphic Design students. The media group works as a graphic design and advertising agency for the campus. Within the program students create promotional materials, videos, graphics, as well as capture photos at events, and design and print apparel and banners.

Screen Printing

Cougar Screen Printing

The Weston Ranch High School is a student run screen printing shop that produces apparel for the Manteca Unified School district and surrounding communities.

The goal of the shop is to provide work experience for WRHS digital arts students as they learn to the business skills required to run a screen-printing apparel shop.

Screen printing is run as a small class program, with a select number of students per period working in the shop. Students interested in participating in our screen printing program must interview with Mr. Windschitl in order to be selected.

Sports and Campus Photography

Our camera crew is a campus club that works to photograph campus events, as well as provide team pictures to our campus sports teams.

Students do not have to be currently enrolled in a photography or design course to participate in the Camera Club, but are expected to be enrolled in a CTE Graphic Design or Photography class at some point during the school year. WRHS Cougar TV

Cougar TV is run by the CTE Advanced Graphic Design program at Weston Ranch High School, a Manteca Unified School District school in Stockton CA. We are the only CTE, or Career Technical Education, Graphic Design program in Manteca Unified, and focus on teaching students the career skills that they will need to enter the arts, media, and entertainment industry.

While enrolled in the program students learn videography, photography, and graphic design, with a focus on using industry standard technology, such as Canon DSLR and Mirrorless cameras, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro. The instructor for the program is Mr. Windschitl.
